ATTENTION COACHES:

We are looking for USA School Tennis clinicians!

What is USA School Tennis?

USA School Tennis is designed to integrate tennis into the physical education curriculum.  The United States Tennis Association has partnered with Wilson Racquet Sports to provide teachers with all the training and equipment they need to get started.  It is a great program that gives many children the opportunity to play tennis that otherwise may have never been exposed to the sport.

What is a USA School Tennis Clinician, and what are the benefits?

Clinicians are local pros/players that are trained to go into the schools and conduct in-service trainings and assemblies.  The in-service trainings are typically 2 1/2 to 3 hours long and the clinician "teaches the teachers how to teach" tennis.  The assemblies last 30-45 minutes and are designed to educate and motivate students about tennis.

Tennis Pro/Clinician Benefits:

·        Great exposure for the pros

·        An ideal opportunity for pros and clubs to advertise their programs

·        Payments of $100 for each in-service

·        Payments of $30 for each assembly

·        A chance to give back to the community and help grow the game of tennis!
