“Using the USTA Quick Start method, young children will learn the basic skills of the great sport of tennis. Taught by Instructor Teresa Caro who has a background in child development, she emphasizes fitness, fun and sportsmanship. All equipment (balls and rackets) provided during class.
Teresa Caro, a native of central Mexico, lives with her family in Irvine and is an active tennis player at the Racquet Club of Irvine. She previously worked at the Child Development Centers (CDC) at the Alderwood School in Irvine from 2006-2011 as a teacher for their before and after school care. Prior to 2006 she was a substitute teacher for CDC for two years.
Over the past 10 years, Teresa organized and coordinated Jr. Team Tennis teams for the USTA and currently works with the USTA Orange County Jr. Team Tennis Coordinator running the OC 10 and Under Tennis Series Play Days on Sunday afternoons.
Tennis After School (TAS) is a great way to introduce kids to the wonderful game of tennis, a lifetime sport!
Teresa has great enthusiasm for youth tennis and is happy to help bring Tennis After School to our Orange County Schools. Contact her to find out how she can bring Tennis After School to your school or to find out if she’s already there!
