Post Local League Season Information for Captains

Dear Captain,

Congratulations on being the championship of your OC USTA Local League Flight! 

Go to the website:  www.orangecountyusta.com  Click on the Master Schedule link on the Adult League Section.

If there is more than one flight at your team’s level, you will participate in a Local League Playoff and you will see the dates for those listed.  Be aware that LLPs often include Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday player regardless of whether you are a weekend or weekday team.

LPPs are always played as a round-robin with the 1^st place teams from each flight.  The forma us is that of a match tie-break, (first to 10 by 2 points,) in lieu of a 3^rd set when players split sets.  When possible, all matches will be played the same day at the same site.  Determining hosting rites is explained in the OC Local League Rules.

If there is only one flight of teams at your level, the winning team from your flight will most-likely go straight into Sectionals.

Teams going to Sectional Championships

1. All teams progressing to Sectionals need to submit a CAPTAIN’S REGISTRATION FORM which is located at the top of the Master Schedule page.  Captains should do this as soon as possible.  The sooner this form is submitted, the better chance the teams have of getting their T-Shirt orders filled. 
2. Captains need to read through the Captain’s Packet posted on the above website.
3. Check the schedule posted on TENNISLINK, (a link is provided on the upper left-hand side of the Master Schedule page,) and compare it to the schedule in the Captain’s Packet to make sure they are the same and players are aware of the different locations for match play at Sectional Championships.
